36th Annual Gem, Mineral, Jewelry Show Forsyth Gem & Mineral Club, Inc. PO Box 21414 Winston-Salem, NC 27120 On September 7, 8, and 9, 2007, the Forsyth Gem and Mineral Club will host its 36th Annual Gem, Mineral, Jewelry Show and Sale at the Winston-Salem Dixie Classic Fairgrounds Education Building. Directions to the Fairgrounds are as follows: - From Business Interstate 40 take the Cherry Street exit and follow the signs north to the Fairgrounds/Coliseum area. - From U.S. 52 take the Akron Drive exit and follow the signs for the Fairgrounds/Coliseum area. Admission is $2.00 for adults,$1.00 for children, and children under six are admitted for free. Free parking through gate 5. Hours are 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM on the 7th and 8th and 12 Noon until 6:00 PM on the 9th. The Forsyth Gem & Mineral Club meets monthly at Vulcan's Mideast Division Training Center to hear presentations on geology, fossils, minerals and jewelry making.
