| #34 | Hi... I have a very old collection of mineral specimens from all over the world that were collected in the 1940's to the 1960's.. Many of them still have the old labels and many do not. I do not know what many of them are. There are also many fossils in the collection as well as fluorescent minerals. I had a local rockhound go through all the boxes to let me know the worth. He came up with about $7000 plus. I want to sell the whole collection for $2000 or best offer. Cash only. Lots of boxes so you will need a truck or trailor to get them all. If you want to look at them, email me with your telephone number and I will get back with you or call me at 1-319-520-8367... thanks.. Bob |

| #37 | Wanted: I'm looking for a few things and hoped someone here might help.
1)Green Garnets. Not the expensive ones. I'd like a small bulk of these to work with.
2)Looking for a couple small specimens of native North Carolina Corundum.
3)Looking for corundum crystals in bulk.
I know I can get this on Ebay, but I'd rather spend my money here first if possible. |

| #39 | Hi You’ll
I have an old Graves faceting machine I would like to sell. It is one of the first one they built I am told it was built early 1950’s. I have owned it since around 1973 and I am the second owner. In 36 years I have cut 3 stones on it and previous owner certainly did not cut many more than that. In short it is in excellent shape. No wear on the mask or slop in the facet head. I sent the facet head back to Graves and had them add a vernier scale to the facet head. It comes with 2 index plates a 64 & 96. There is the 16 original dopes that came with the machine. I still have the two original 8 inch laps that came with the machine. A 8 inch copper lap 600 grit diamond on one side and 1200 on the other. This is a excellent machine for a beginner on a budget. ($200.00)
In addition there is a full list of attachments and extras.
I bought 4ea. new 8 inch diamond disk (grit 260, 360, 600, & 1200) mounted on 4 ea. heavy duty master laps. All these laps are in good shape and lots of cutting left in them. Also 1 ea. 8 inch phenolic disk mounted on a heavy duty master laps. This one is brand new. All 7 of these laps come in their own plastic case. ($388.00)
I also have a new system for cutting and polishing a facet on a stone. There is an 8 inch mirror 3/8 of inch thick. You place a clear mylar plastic disk that is impregnated with diamond grit on top of the mirror. When you look through the mylar into the mirror you can actually see your facet being cut and polished while it is being done. In these mylar plastic disk I have diamond grits 600, 1,200, 3,000, 14,000, 50,000, & 200,000. ($198.00)
In addition to the 16 dopes original that came with the machine I add 15 more of different size and shape. ($45.00) Equipment only $831.

| #40 | I am looking for a slab saw 10-14". It does not need to be new. I enjoy rebuilding machines. It does not need a motor or stand as I can supply these items. If you have one that is collecting dust and is in need of repair please let me know.

| #41 | 18" Highland Park Model J2 Rock/Slab Saw + additional lapidary equipment.
I have a very nice rock saw my dad bought when a local college (in Kansas) closed down the "rock" department. It was in very good working condition when he bought it. He cleaned it up, i.e. scraped old cuttings and oil out of it and cut two rocks over the last few years. I can't tell you how long ago we bought it, maybe 10 years ago or so. He thought he would get some use out of it after he retired, but unfortunately, as a former Enron employee, this hasn't worked out. I am pursuing several avenues to sell this saw for him. I believe I also have the trimsaw, beltsander/buffer, cutter/grinder, and a vibrolamp for sale as well. However, I'm not even sure what's what. My mom sent me the original receipts from the auction and those items are listed as well. Any interest? Any help would be appreciated as well.
