Nice collection of Black Rock geodes. Many of those with the blue/black interior are harder to find at the mine. Someone used a big bar to cave in the face of the wall at the mine. I have a couple bucket loads I got on previous trips there. I got some nice ones with calcite stalactites on my last trip (see pictures posted on Mcrocks) Recent restrictions on the amount of rock you can collect in the Black Rock and the lost of any claim rights on the mine should prevent large amounts of material ever coming out of that mine ever again. It should at least prevent anyone from going in there with heavy equipment and taking out large quantities. Your one ton should be increasingly valuable.

Yes the claim rights were lost and BLM will not let anyone else file on the claim again. Those geodal thundereggs are unique to the Black Rock Geode Mine and nearby prospects.
